About the ISF
Through setting standards and encouraging ongoing learning together
The International Sophrology Federation (ISF) is a non-profit organisation dedicated to:
Advancing the sophrology profession
The ISF works to promote awareness of the sophrology method and evidence of its effectiveness in increasing health, wellbeing and performance.
We maintain the integrity of the method as it expands around the world and encourage ongoing professional development of our members.
Setting high professional standards
ISF accreditation ensures practitioners are suitably qualified and work to the highest ethical standards.
By accrediting sophrology schools, standards for education and training in sophrology are assured.
The ISF Code of Ethics and Professional Conduct sets out the expected ethical and good practice standards for members. It defines ISF member commitments to their clients, to the public, and to the profession.
All registered ISF members agree to be held to the standards as laid out in this code.
Building a network of sophrologists
Members of the ISF meet regularly to share ideas, knowledge and explore best practice. We provide opportunities to join special interest groups and access to valuable resources and practical support.
History and Governance of the ISF
The International Sophrology Federation was founded in 2010 by Dorna Revie whose vision it was to create a professional body for sophrologists in the English-speaking world.
Dorna continues to support the ISF in an advisory capacity as President Emeritus.
